As a tireless researcher, vinyl lover, collector, and selector with over 30 years of experience, his sets highlight a solid musical discourse, a dynamic and precise technique with a decidedly underground approach but are above all versatile. He is a major figure in the Argentine electronic scene and has influenced many contemporary artists and DJs in the region. He was a member and co-founder of the DJ collective Urban Groove during the 90s, and under the alias Sr. Replicante, he approached experimental electronic production and live sets in a bleep style in the early 2000s. Currently, he is actively developing a series called “Nitewax” as a curator, aiming to promote DJ culture from a generational interaction perspective, showcasing new trends in vinyl format in Buenos Aires.
Each of his sets narrates a new story, offering a sophisticated musical journey where he exposes past, present, and future in a single night. It’s difficult to pigeonhole his style into a single genre, although his roots are evident in Chicago house music and Detroit techno. The influence of Afro, disco, boogie, soul, jazz, funk, electro, bleep, experimental music, and many other variants is also notable.
